SUSTAINABLE POLICIES

Campo Verde Hotel is characterized by a high interest in preserving the natural environment, so firmly believes that its activities and daily operations with a sustainable management of the environment and the different factors is feasible and practicable, so it works and acts in the use of resources to ensure the least possible environmental impact.  We also strive to share this commitment through our partners and customers and we offer the following guidelines of behavior, with the desire to share with us the intention of preserving the biodiversity of our ecosystem.

    Electricity. Give the greatest possible use natural light, please turn on lights and the air conditioner only when needed.  Both the facilities and green areas are used light bulbs and lamps are lit green areas from 5pm. With all these actions will avoid the unnecessary use of energy and avoid impacts to wildlife and not disturb them with the lighting.

    Consumption and water management.  Bed sheets are washed daily in thousands of hotels in the world, using millions of gallons of water and tones of detergent.  We promote water conservation through simple activities such as delay in the washing of sheets and towels informing you when the washing is necessary. We also promote the closing of tubes where it is not necessary to use water. Water consumption is up to you, please do not waste it.

    Waste Management. We recommend the use of amenities provided for free by the hotel in the bathrooms, since they are biodegradable .  Please separate the organic and/or inorganic garbage (plastic, glass and aluminum) by using the appropriate garbage cans located in the recycling center.  With all this we guarantee a good waste management. 

    Protection of flora and fauna. Prohibit, prevent and denounce the removal, imprisonment and illegal marketing of wild animals and plants. Also we ask you please do not feed the animals because they cause changes in behavior and thus results in changes in their diet. Do not introduce exotic species of flora and fauna in protected areas. Often exotic species kill, displace, compete, sick or otherwise cause stress on the flora and fauna. This leads to competition between native and introduced species can displace native species and their natural habitat, that fall outside of their environment, puts them in danger of extinction.

       Air Quality: For environmental reasons, health and safety, smoking is banned inside the hotel facilities in the rooms, reception and restaurant. You can smoke in outdoor areas.

    National Heritage Protection: We acquired a commitment to protect the historic and cultural heritage so we do not participate in the sale, trafficking and exhibition of archaeological objects but in the protection of local values and cultures as well as to support conservation initiatives and development

A strong commitment to the company is the rejection of the exploitation of human beings in any form, particularly sexual, especially when applied to minors, as well as company policy to cancel the contract with companies or individuals who contribute in some way, facilitate, tolerate or promote the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents.
